Melinda, I watched it last night. I felt really bad for the girl Tiffany. She is so young. I hope the doctors will be able to perform her surgery. Mo

I must have been in a bad mood last night.  I was irritated by Tiffany ("i don't know how I got this way.  Maybe it was the food?").  Like Dr Phil says you have to own it to get over it.  Maybe it was just bad editing by the program - why would they broadcast that?

Oh I dunno. I felt a bit the same way. I felt like she was looking for a quick fix...BUT the thing that really got me was her family! They were so enabling her to continue on the path she was on! Did you see home much butter they were using!? The kinds of foods they were BRINGING to her?! I just will never understand families that enable such behavior.  My family would have said "If you're that hungry and want THAT kind of food...get it yourself."  Amazing....I hope she AND her family get some mental/emotional help before they allow her to have the surgery. 

And why did the family dump her in Houston and run back to Louisiana?  Tiffany wasn't able to take care of herself at home (at least they made it look that way). She's not a strong candidate for good maintenance pre- or post-op if she has to go it alone. This one will be interesting to watch unfold.

I watched  last nights episode of BM.  Yeah I would not recommend the surgery for Tiffany either.  She has other emotional problems that will undo any progress she accomplishes.  Maybe she should go to one of the weight loss facilities that will help her manage before and after the surgery.
