My appointment went REALLY well!!

My appointment went really well. Dr. Bender was down to earth and spoke to me like I was a person and made me feel like he really wanted to help me. I loved it! He is giving me his OK! I did have a hard time though getting through the appointment because he is really cute! Picture Brad Pitt with slightly darker hair. I'm not exaggerating either! Woooah baby!

Your way too funny but your kinda right lol well glad your appointment went well. I was over in the surgical waiting room rounding up more members for the FFP group poor Jackie was still sitting up there waiting to go back for her surgery @ 5:30 waiting on the staffto round up enough to do her surgery. Poor girl Im awairing a call sorry I didnt get to meet ya this time but Im sure Ill paths will soon cross. Good luck with your upcoming appointments. Let me know if I can help w/ anything at all. 

Ok- it's going to hit me just as soon as I post this message, but what is FFP? I can't believe that she was still sitting there! That's nutz! I was so busy this morning- I didn't really have a chance to breathe. I do want to meet you, I think we all need support from people that are in our same shoes! My hubby is there for me, but I don't think he really knows how much my hips hurt and everything else that goes along with being overweight.

FFP was voted on by all of us and wa thought up by one of our members daugters who was being nice by say we were Formerly Fat People hince FFP : ) well you know we are meeting Sat in Harrisonburg @Panos on Rt 11 @ 12 your welcome to come you will meet all of us there from the beginings of the journeys to journeys 3-4 yrs out so let me know if you wanna come. We would love to have you....

Glad that you had a good appointment with Dr. B.  He was really nice!  The next couple months will fly by for you now...the hard part is finished.  Good luck with all the future appointments.  :-)

Oh, boy - Brad Pitt with any color hair is real fine. I can just imagine how rewarding it is to the WL surgeons to have a patient base who are so grateful for the new lives they create, which is why they really care about us.  Good to hear your doc is the same.  Here's hoping the next weeks sprout wings and fly by for you!

Never doubted it would go any other way but perfect!!!  And to think you were so worried...silly lady...LOL!  It won't be long now, hon. BTW, you may have a cute therepist, but I have the hottest surgeon!  And does he ever have eyelashes to die for!! LOL

That is great!!! I'm so relieved to see that the eval wasn't awful. i'm scheduled to see him in a couple of weeks. At least now I know I'll have a pleasant view
