Dearest Alyssa, A treu problem but as you can tell, it happens to us. I used lactose free milk at first as I became surprisingly lactose intolerant after surgery that wasn't an issue before surgery. I also used a protein powder avaiable online and from GNC called ISOPURE thatis 50 grams per serving. It didn't taste the best, so I mixed it with lots of different stuff to get it in, SF pudding, apple juice (cut in half with water, water, beef broth, chicken broth, and yogurt). I also stated and still at 10 months out use the Whey protein powder from Walmart for $12. I have use the liquid protein at 42 grams a vial but they a re a bit pricey for my budget. I now get most of my protein from Pure Protein Chocolate deluxe and Bluebaerry flavored bars I also get from Walmart. They are low calorie and high protein (170 cal, 20 gms protein, 0 sugar, 7-9 gms Sugar alcohol that doesn't bother me too much; OK maybe a little gas, but not intolerable) and you are suppose to drink 8 oz of water with these bars so it sdoesn't inhibiit my water intake during the day. I also started using biotin in pill form with my morning vitamins and noticed a real thickening in my thin places. Good luck,..its temporary, and worth the weight loss, but I know it is more of an issue for the ladies than the guys. We guys care about it too but its not as big an issue for most of us.
