I just went on a sailing trip for 2 weeks and took the whey protein bullets. I just mixed it with crystal light and it was great. Easy to pack and 42 grams of protein.

I just came back from vacation as well and brought some cans of protein drinks & protein bars with me. If you live near a Farm Fresh, SOME of them are starting to carry the Achievone. I have been to 3 near my house and only 1 has had them. I have also found THE most amazing strawberry protein drink. Its called VHT Extreme Smoothie. The Strawberry is to DIE FOR!!!!!!!! Not taste of protein anywere and it actually tastes just like Nestle's Strawberry Quick. My husband is constantly taking them from the fridge.  I have found them at performancenutrition.com & vitacost.com. Very quick shipping... I got them in 2 days. Here is the nutritional info.  OH... I also like the atkins strawberry shakes and you can find them at Walmart.    Have fun on your vacation!!!

I looked up that Farm Fresh..I guess there is one in Richmond.I think I will call them ahead tho because depending where it's a drive. I'll have to check out those strawberry one's you mentioned..I am a BIG fan of it not tasting like protein..lol..I use the GNC 100% Whey strawberry one..it has a very slight flavor but it's doable.I'm just trying to make it easier on me on this trip.         Thanks

I just ordered some from this web site: http://www.hbees.com/achievone.html Shipping to me was $8.99.  I'll have to check out the Farm Fresh supermarkets by me from now on.

Depending on where I was traveling was how I would do it.  Most of the time I did my chocolate shakes mixed with milk.  I would just grab my travel packs (usually just portioned out in a ziploc bag) and my containers (with milk in a cooler if it was a short drive & hotel stay) or containers no milk (if I was going to family and could buy milk  for the fridge.  A lot of times the powders can be mixed with water too so maybe that is an option for you.  Hope you find something that works for you.

I like a coffee flavor too -- for me it masks the taste of any protein taste regardless of the brand.  When I try a new protein, I keep adding a little water or cinnamon or surprisingly - pumpkin pie spice till I get a taste I like.  It's worked so far.  I generally buy unflavored or Vanilla or Choc.  I have seen on the boards where folks dry out their 16 water bottles and pour a serving of protein powder in them.  They just have to open another bottle of cold water and pour it in and shake.  They can just throw the dirty bottle away. Don't forget that you can take lofat cheese or hard boiled eggs with you as protein too.  I also carry one of the lo fat tuna lunch kit things (with crackers)  BumbleBee makes a Spicy Thai and a tomato basil that I like. Happy Traveling
