Sleep Study Over!

Thank goodness my sleep study is over!!  All those wires and stuff was crazy, not to mention the glue in my head LOL  I bet I was a funny picture. Anywho....just another mark off of the checklist towards my surgery.  The tech said she was pretty sure I do not have sleep apnea, which is a great thing!  But, the doctor will have to read the final calibrations to make that determination -  Next step - Endoscopy on August 14th TGIF - ya'll have a great weekend.

Not being mean and trying to poped your bubble Nancy but the tech told me the very same thing my first time around and on my retest after I lodt my 140 pounds said it was gone , but then when I got my letter well it was not the truth. So wait to here from Dr Surrett, Also I warned ya about the glue lol : ) and the wires I felt like I was going to the electic chamber lol. Well round one is over so lets hope there right and you dont have to do a round two. Good luck on your Endoscopy.

I thought the strangest thing about the sleep study was that the leads from my head to the box were so short that the metal box was only 6 to 8 inches from my head. If I rolled over to my right i would bang my head on the box. If I rolled over to my left the box would get dragged into the back of my head.  Since then (9 years ago), I have been using a CPAP and it has allowed me to have many good nights of sleep - and in the same room as my wife. I know what you mean Joe!  I usually sleep on my right side..Well the box was on the left side and the wires definitely were not long enough to turn over on the right so had to sleep on my left side or on my back.  Was not a happy camper.  I know your wife is thankful that you can sleep in the same room as her :)

Keeping you in my thoughts as you wait for your results.  On to the next step, endoscopy.  Keep going lady.

Congratulations!! Just keep marking these tasks off your list. You will be in surgery before you know it. Hope to see you next week.
