Support Group Meeting Last night at Potomac Hospital did any one go?

Hi,    I live in Alexandria, VA otherwise I would attend! I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL :)   I never had major surgery and know there are risks with all surgery so this is a hard decision I go back and forth....then I see and hear from all these members on this site and I feel ok and reassured...

 You make the decision that is right for you...and no question I learned is not important or trivial...I wish you the best and stay strong!  Take care..

I feel so much better when I read the posts on this site also. Then I'll read the details of both surgeries and start worrying again. Then I get mad at myself and think why can't I do this without surgery. I guess I'm starting to realize there is no easy answer and I need to do a lot of praying before I make any decision.Thanks

I had never had any surgery except my c-section before my gastric bypass  so I was very scared too!! But it wasn't as bad as I hought it was going to be.... I am sure you will be fine!! Jackie
