About IHOP...

Matt & I had breakfast at our local IHOP this morning. They had no problem with me ordering from the kids menu so I chose I think it was called the Berry JR or something like that. Had one egg, 1 slice of bacon, one sausage link, & pancake with strawberries & whipped cream. I gave the pancake to Matt. Had my egg scrambled & asked for a bit of cheese on top. One word of caution...be sure to ask them to scramble the egg WITHOUT the batter in it. They put pancake batter in the scrambled eggs to make it fluffier! They do the same for omelets too. Just so's ya know.

Glad you had a good experience. IHOP also has a seperate helathier menu (you have to ask for it) that has smaller portions, and great food choices. Sometimes if I want to treat myself a bit I get the Harvest Pancake with sugar free syrup. Isn't it great to have someone to share with. My sweetie (also named Matt) is great about sharing with me when we go out.

A seperate menu eh? I will remember that. Thankls Courtney. Ok, I guess I need to clarify...My hubby's name is Mike, my sons names are Matt & Chris. Matt lives at home & is my right arm. He has learning disabilities that makes it difficult for him to hold a job for very long. So he lives at home & helps take care of things around the house, to include me sometimes. Might sound odd to some people, but it works for us. He's a terrific guy & we don't know what we'd do without him.
