I have always thought about it but never did anything about it - but there is something about this cruise that makes it fun - all the WLS stuff they are doing on it - it will also keep me on track with so many others around me who are the same.... Plus it wil be fun to vacation with others from the VA Board too! Jackie

I'm with you.  Nothing like fellowship, eh?  I just spent the better part of 2 hours perusing Royal Carribean Lines' website.  Wow!  What a nice looking ship!  Our other cruise was with Carnival & it was great, but this one is amazing.  I even checked out some of the higher end cabins (yeah, right...only if we hit the lottery!!).  One thing I do know though is I'm getting a cabin with a balcony again.  It was so nice to be able to step out on the balcony in the morning, all comfy in my jammies, & just listen to ocean as we cut through it.  Very relaxing!! We're all gonna have such a great time!!!!  Thanks for checking it out, Jackie.

Hugs!
Ann

Yes we will be getting a cabin with a balcony too - that will make it so much more of an experience for us. The ship is just collosal - I have never seen anything so big!! And it has a ton of amenties plus we don't spend too long at sea - we get to get off an explore places too.....  I am getting very excited about it and have already made my reservation but not paid anything yet - I will do that this week to guarantee my place and with the ocean view balcony! Hey and did you see we can have room service and it is also free!!!!!!!! Terri the cruise organizer told me - I asked her a ton of questions and she was really great answering them all! Jackie

Oh good...you're gonna love that balcony.  I tried to look for shore excursions but they haven't got them up for our cruise yet.  As for the room service, I woke up around 2 am, starving.  I ordered a sandwich chips & a glass of milk...it was delivered within 10 minutes!!!!  That's even faster than the drive-thru at McD's...LOL. I will let ya know that they take pictures constantly.  I bet there must have been at least 100 or more of us.  You are NOT obligated to buy any, but we did get a few.  Also, we all better get to work on our passports now what with the backlog they're already having.  Hmmm...I better check Mike's...it might have expired by now.  Last time we didn't need one. Are you planning to fly in or drive?  We drove & probably will this time too.  My father-in-law lives in FL so we can arrive the day before & spend the night.  Well, maybe not this time.  He's a bit of a grouchy old goat.  Maybe we'll just stop at a motel.  We enjoy long car trips so it's no big deal.  Gee, I can hardly wait!  And by then I will have reached my goal weight!  What a fab reward! Ok, I'm gettin' sleepy again.  Take care Jackie!

That certainly was good service!  That is good that they take pictures - if I want to buy some I can and if not I can take about 900 with my camera before I need a new memory stick in it..... - I may even bring my computer so I can download them when I want as well. I just need to make sure Connor's passport hasn't expired - oh what am I talking about ?- it is valid for five years and he will only be four then lol!! We took him to the UK when he was only one so my family could meet him. I don't know if we will fly or drive - my guess is drive and get down there a few days early and have fun by seeing a couple of Bill's relatives - I don't mind long drives either - do it all the time to New York or Florida etc...

I am treating this as a reward for all my plastic surgeries and the first time I won't have felt so self conscious on vacation - hell I may even wear swim wear - which I never really do....lol! Jackie

Sweetie, with all the PS you've had, you BETTER wear swimwear!!! LOL  You know you'll look fabulous!!! I had a tearful moment this morning.  I have this beautiful black velvet ****tail dress with a matching bolero jacket that has really looooong fringe on it.  I thought, ah what the heck, try it on.  Jackie I litterally SLID into it.  I haven't been able to get into it for at least 5 years.  I just stood there in front of the mirror blubbering like an idiot, but they were happy tears.  Dare I even imagine what I will look like & feel like come cruise time???? So I guess I better tell Mike about this cruise, huh? LOL Have a terrific weekend!

Hugs!

Well I don't know about looking fabulous but a darned sight better than I did at 265 and 300lbs ago!! It is always good to get into clothes that you thought would never fit you again!! I cried when I got into a pair of size 18 jeans - heck I think I was born bigger than that!! Now I am a 10/12 jeans an look at them and still think they won't fit me!!

I told Bill about the cruise after I had booked it too - smetimes it is the only way lol! Besides he wa sin CAlifornia all week and  was too excited not to go and pre-register...
