First of all, I'm happy to report I've started losing again...yeah!!!! Here's my question.  Is it normal to be full of energy one day & draggin' butt the next?  I took about 5 unexpected naps today.  Everytime I sat down for more than 10 minutes, I was out like a light for a couple of hours at a time.  Yet yesterday I was full of energy.  Just wondering if this is to be expected.

Hugs!
Ann

I cannot give you an "experienced" surgery related answer. But I know this 100+ degree weather is keeping me soooo tired.

Totally normal in my book!  My energy really didn't kick back in full throttle until around my 3rd month out. I think it was related to the heat (my surgery was on July 19th of last year), the body still healing (be patient, it really does take awhile!!) and just the body adjusting to the new way of eating/supplements. Hope that helps....

I knew you would start losing again.  Totally normal on the tiredness.  Remember you are healing and adjusting to lower calories.  I found that at like 8weeks or so I got some energy back and then are like 3/4 months out suddenly felt drained again for awhile.  It just takes time.  Part of it is the anesthia, it can stay in your system for up to a year.   Just be careful, those days you are full of energy you may be doing too much without realizing it and then you body is recoperating the next day.  Make sure you rest plenty the day before and day of your big party.
