Approval and Date Setting

YAY! I got my approval letter Friday and today I spoke with the office and I have a date of Nov 5, 2007!!!! I only had my consult on the 2nd and now its all finalized...i had to pu**** later than what they had available because i only recently quit smoking and they require you to wait 3 months. Im so excited although now the doubts and second thoughts are starting to set in lol. I know im going through with it, but now my brother is starting up about trying it the "natural way." i had to tell him that i am dividing people into two sides on this, supportive or derisive. He quickly decided which team he would be on, or face the wrath of big sister! Whoohoo!

Congrats on getting your date!  Your emotions are normal. :-)  Tell your brother that this surgery only allows you to get a head start, but after the first bit, it'll be all you, all natural.  That usually helps people get a better mindset.  Best!

Hi Congratulations!!!  this is wonderful news for you. I also just got my approval (yesterday) from Insurance and I am a smoker...uh we need to talk because I tried to stop for three days and then smoked last night*&*^%^$   I admire you how did you do it?? I have to call the office back and accept a surgery date but I have a smoking problem!
