hey everyone thanks for the prayers and everything i came home yesterday after the doc got my results he says it was my gallbladder acting up but since i wasnt in pain like i had been the day before  (when i thought i was going to die) then he wants to see me in his office in a bout a week or two to discuss taking out my gallbladder he said it was really dangerous to take it out sooo close to surgery so i guess we will see what happens... i kept crying when someone would even mention surgery to me i hate the thought of another surgery. well again thanks everyone and i kinda wished i could have stayed in thier so i could have met tink :( oh well i will see her one day. Thanks again everyone. Tiffany

Hey girl glad to hear you are home and feeling better... I'm so thankful that i had my gb taken out in 05', i've heard that it can give you alot of trouble after surgery!!! I hope and pray that they don't have to take it out but if they do you will be in good hands and have lots of good thoughts and prayers coming your way!!!! Missy

Welcome home Tiffany. Sorry to hear about the gallbladder problem. I guess it's not uncommon for WLS folks. Hope you stay pain free until you can have it out.

Glad that you are feeling so much better and bad luck for the gallbladder - they may be able to keep it controlled with medication until it is safe to take it out - but it is nowhere near as bad as the RNY for recovery......so I have heard - I still have mine.... Jackie

Glad to hear you are home & feeling better.  I ended up having my gb out a little over a year after having surgery.  They did it lap so I just had a couple of little holes & was in & out in 4 hours.  Not a big deal at all.  If you get another attack, try to figure out what food is triggering it and cut down on those foods.  In my case it was dairy & I had to cut to all fat free dairy products or eliminate it all together.  :)

I'm glad you are home but sorry to hear about the gallbladder. Knock on wood I have not had troubles with mine. I am on Actigall for 6months so that is supposed to help.  And if you do have to have it out, we are all here for you Tiffany.
