I'm 2 1/2 months out and I am extremely tired in the afternoon. I get in at least 75 oz. of water a day, take my vitamins--multi, B12, iron, calcium, zinc, vitamin C. I exercise every day for an hour, eat OK--65- 80 oz protein, veggies and fruit  and sleep 8-9 hours a night. By 3:30 in the afternoon, I am just exhausted. Like now. So I am off to sleep and will check in later.

I consider this normal.  Myself and a few other people I have know who have had the surgery all had energy crashes at about 3 months out.  Suddenly out of no where we all needed naps to make it through the day.  If you are really concerned check with your dr. or nut. to see what they think.

I think I was perpetually tired for the first year after surgery. It was not until I was able to consume more that I felt better. Vitamin intake had nothing to do with it, it was lack of food. I alo discovered that I had hypoglycemia. If I didn't eat 5 to 6 times a day I needed a nap by 2 pm. It sucked. Now I carry a protein bar in my person wherever I go.
