WLS Support Grp Mtg, Hopewell VA, JRH

Hi you great bunch of losers!!! I just finished talking to Keith and he has invitied me to take the lead in facilitating the support group that has been meeting on the first Thursdays of each month at John Randolph Hospital in Conference Room A/B at 6:30 p.m. I will be there with Keith Sept 6 to meet the group. I am willing to give it my best shot. Anyone interested in attending is welcome.   I hope to do introductions and discuss what we want to do meetings-wise and activities, etc. that best meets the needs of the group. Which night we meet, how often we meet, meeting format, meeting times,... its all open to see how we can best serve the needs of those attending and our Pre-op and Post-op brothers and sisters and their support givers as they come and go.  I'd personnally love to see us mee the needs of learning to cope witth recovery as well as having some social or fun stuff too. So Come One, Come All and lets get this thing going. I'm looking forward to helping this be a successful group and improve community awareness like our neighbors in Fredricksburg and VABeach seem to do so well.  Advice from you experienced OH facilitators out there is more than welcome. Joe anything I can do just let me know - Sue and I run the Fredericksburg Group that meat every third wednesday of the month... By the way - you look great these days! Such a difference! Jackie
