I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that I'm pretty much done travelling for the rst of the summer, it's time to get back on track.  I know* I know....it's too hot!  I hear ya on that one!  BUT.....we need to get our rears in gear if we want to look fab at all of the holiday parties that are coming up.  WHO WANTS TO BE THE BELLE OF THE BALL?????  I sure do! So......we we go, ladies and gents...... What are your plans for today?  For this week?  Let's get moving!!!!! Even if you are still waiting for your surgery...it's time to get going!  The better you are physically, the better you will feel after surgery.  Even if you are only giving it 10 minutes a day! So....for me....  my goal this week is to be consistent!  That has been my vice these past few weeks - inconsistency.  So....This week, my plan of attack is........... Monday - Ellipticle - 30 minutes, Upper Body 20 minutes (o****il I finish 3 sets of everything I am suppose to do) Tuesday - Running - 3.5 miles, Ab Jam (workout dvd) and stretching 20 minutes Wednesday - Walking at incline - Lower Body 20 minutes  Thursday - Running - 3.5 miles, Ab Jam (workout dvd) and stretching 20 minutes Friday - Walking - 45 minutes, Ab Jam (workout dvd) Saturday - REST Sunday - Running - 3.5 miles, Ab Jam (workout dvd) and stretching 20 minutes So - what will YOU be doing to move today????? Stay hydrated!

Wow Jill!  I'm not even close to be THAT organized yet.  Impressive!! Ok, my goals... 1. stay hydrated!!  I"ve been doing pretty good about that one already, especially with this oppressive heat! 2.  I still want to make my trek to my mailbox & back...which I KNOW I can do cuz I've already walked that same distance at the farm.  But I want to make it to MY mailbox & back. 3.  I want to  put in some time on my stationary bike, & add a little tension to it this time.  I'm only 6 weeks post-op so I'm still supposed to go easy, but I usually push the edge a tad & see what happens. 4.  I want to clean up my living room BY MYSELF!!!  Something I haven't been able to do for a year now.  That means dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, running stuff up & down stairs to put them away. Ok, 4 goals for one week...that's pretty good for me! Next????

Hugs!
Ann

Jill, I truly enjoyed talking to you at dinner Saturday night.  I am so looking forward to having your energy level.  I'm walking twice a day at work on breaks and trying to get out in the evenings for walking but it's been too dang hot.... Fall coming though. Thanks for all your support, you're a great lady. Take care, Pat

Aawww....shucks I really enjoyed meeting you too.  I swear it's nice when we all get together and can finally put the names and faces together. Energy level, huh???  I have to admit - it comes more from the mind and attitude.  Just the thought of being left behind again terrifies me.  So, instead....I lead the way You see, I have 3 guys to contend with (hubby, and 2 older sons).  For years I tried, but simply could not do.  Especially right before surgery.  We went to the Grand Canyon and I was miserable.  My feet hurt SO bad.  Then, we went to Bush Gardens and I hated it.  I could not fit in the seats and walking was terrible.  My weight just weighed me down. So...as I started losing the weight and feeling much better.  I got to participate.  THAT was a GREAT feeling! So, now....I lead the way and they have a hard time keeping up- haha. It's all about YOU.  What's important???  YOU!!!!!! That's where attitude comes in. Enjoy the journey!
