My most PERFECT celebration!!!!

A two tissue wedding, eh?  That is soooo cute!  And yes, it does feel like "family" here.  I guess that's why I wanted to share all this in writing.  I only WISH I could have had you all with us. We did make one private promise to each other.  Come our 30th anniversary?  We're running away quietly!!!!  Besides, by then I'll be 62 & just won't have the energy to get this crazy again...LOL! The mishaps...what wedding doesn't have them???  (hear that, Courtney & Melinda?)  Because of that first blast of rain, everything was delayed by about 2 hours.  Mickie was getting frantic, trying to rush me through my bath, dressing, make-up, etc.  I finally grabbed hold of her & pointed out that most of our guests had driven at LEAST an hour, if not more, to get there.  They had booze & water & sodas.  They weren't about to rush out to their cars & leave.  And they sure as heck weren't gonna start without me..LOL!  (hear that, Courney & Melinda??) I do love a story with a happy ending & "Happily Ever After" certainly fits that bill.  Thanks, Chele!

Your day sounded a lot like mine . .. except for I got snow in April .. LOL  MANY CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR DAY ..

SNOW?????  Oh, I'll take the rain anyday, even as much as I like snow!!!!   Meeting in person....ummm...didn't I see your name on Melinda's guest list for the end-of-summer picnic in White Post? Oh, btw...before I forget...I have a little "something" for you.  I'm pretty sure you'll like it & I couldn't resist.  Soooooo, if THAT doesn't entice you to the picnic, I don't know what will. My God woman, how do you do it? I got totally exhausted just reading about what you had done. Perseverance must be your midle name. I couldn't be happier for you and Mike. God bless you both with many more years of happiness.

Hahahahaha!   YOU were exhausted???   Try it from MY side...LOL!!!!  But it was so worth it. Thank you so much for your kind wishes.  We will have many more years of happiness as long as I can keep him from looking at the checkbook! LOL
