MY GRANDSON -SO SAD

I must get this off my chest now or I am going to explode . Last week my grandson who lives currently with his mom , and her dad and her step mom , had moved a gas can from the porch so he could get by . It is being told to me not only by my daughter , but my grandson too , that the step mom said this to him . And I quote .. " If you touch one more thing in this house, I will pour that gasoline all over you and set you on fire " when I heard this I wanted to strangle her . I just had these boys for the week .. and and noticed Dontae .. was stuttering real bad . My daughter finally fessed up that this woman is a tyrant with them and there is nothing she can do about it , as her dad will not take up for her . Thank God in heaven ,, she is moving this week out of there . When asked by my daughter why she would say this .. she laughed and said she was only kidding .. this is not kidding .., this is verbal terrorism in my opinion ..   I have called Social Services and they are going to go out next week and begin investigating this . Dontae begged me to come back home with me ..I have some doctor appointments tommorrow , and Amy's other grandmother has offerend them to come stay .. so if that does not work out , I will go back and get them , Now I understand his desperation .to come back with me.     I truly am so hurt that this woman has damaged him like this . I am so mad you guys .. I truly want her to get in trouble for this .. if you could see him .. he was so good with me .. but when I got back Sunday .. he was so sad .., and his stuttering was so bad .. I cannot believe she did this ..,    Get this . Barbara the step gran ma is pregnant with her 2nd ..child .. I feel for these children .. and fear for them    I am going back down there this weekend to help her move and get settled .. if I catch this woman and my x together ,.,. It is so on with them , this is a precious child from God ... and I will not let anyone hurt him .

I read this Tink and it is absolutely CRAZY!!!! How could someone threaten a CHILD like that???? I give you a lot of props to not go down there and set her a flame!!!!! Some people just really don't get it do they!!!!

Wow, what a story.  It is a shame that your daughter & grandson are being treated this way.  I wonder if it has something to do with a jealousy/envy/dislike thing because they are not her biological family members.  That happens in so many step families.  It is a shame. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

NAtalie Im so sorry to be reading this, it sounds as if this step mother has some major mental issues going on, and then u post she is pregnant gosh how scarey. I hope you can get this woman some help before the child is born and I hope Amy and her children can find peace else where because it dosent sound safe where she is for her children, And most definte for your grandson. Wow it just sickens me to here these things when I tried so  very hard for children and people can say things so cowless (i know thats not spelled right) to a small child. You and your family are in my prayers. Hugs....

Like so many decent, caring, law-abiding folks, I am a child advocate.  Nothing makes me more insane than to hear or see that a child has been abused.  Sad to say I have seen more than my fair share of such attrocities in my capacity as both a law enforement officer as well as an EMT.  The mother in me would love nothing more than to inflict the same kind of pain/torture that these animals inflict on children, yet in a professional capacity, I cannot.  And also sad to say social services has always been near their breaking point, overloaded with such cases as your darling Grandson.  But Tink, you keep up with them.  I already know enough about you that you are not one to give in easily.  You are a justice seeker & that's a fine quality, albeit a tough row to hoe sometimes.  But be persistent. I now ask you something as gently as I can think of.  What's up with your daughter??  How could ANY mother laugh about someone terrorizing her innocent child??  I don't know who I'd wanna smack more...Dontae's mother or the step-b**ch!!  And for him to be exhibiting the kind of behavior you have described, my first thought is what else is being done to this child?  Your daughter & those kids do not have to stay in an unsafe environment...there are safe houses & shelters that they can go to where they will be protected & safe.  It may not be totally pleasant, but it would be a darn sight better than what they are living in now. I am soooo very sorry that you must endure this kind of pain, fear, grief, sadness, & anger.  But honey, for the moment...make that anger work for you, for your daughter, & for your grandchildren.  Just follow your heart, Tink...you know what's right.

Nooo Ann .. Amy did not laugh .. the step Mom did .. any went to tell her Dad and Barbara told her that if she said a word .. and kept making it seem worse than it was .. they would throw them out in the street .. Amy said she would hold it all until she could get out .  Too f.... late .. I just talked to all concerend and warned them that they need to get their sh.. together as hell lis sbout to break loose .. and that no one will do this ever again to him .  I for one know all to well about verbal abuse .. and it STOPS here with her .  And thank God my husband is a Federal Police officer with many connections . It is so on ..

Ok, you are a better person than I am.  I would have done 2 things when hearing this..... 1st - Called hubby to tell him to get money out of savings to bail me out... 2nd - Beat her *ss. There is NO way in h*ll I would have put up with that. I cannot believe that someone would do that!
