Well... he said he would bail me out .. and I headed over there ... and JoAnn stopped me . I was going to punch her straight in the mouth that said it .. but she was right .. it would only make it worse so on Alan's plea .. we sought out SS .. and they are mad as hell .. and promise a full investigation ... I will see her ( Barbara ) this weekend .. and Promise you .. it will not be pretty . I just talked to Amy and they are safe at her grandmas house .. Thank God !

Sweetie, I sooooo appologize for the confusion. Phew! Glad you cleared that up. And am also very glad to hear they are no longer there with the stepmonster. I had one of those too & she's probably the only person I know that I can honestly say I HATE with a passion. Them folks better look out....Mama Bear's on the prowl & ready to kick some a$$!!!! I'm proud of you, Tink!

Ugh, I can't stand reading things like this. I hope that your grandson recovers from the mental abuse. My cousin's son stuttered when he had a verbally abusive teacher, but after he left her class, he was ok. Hopefully that step grandma didn't do lasting damage. I will be keeping him in my prayers. Oh and you're a great lady, to have contacted DSS on her. I hope they do something about the allegations. IMO, too many people don't get what they deserve for abusing children.

Oh, Nat...I am so sorry and my prayers go out to you and your precious grandbabies. I went through a very, very similar situation with my son and his stepmother, and I feel your pain. I myself am a stepmom and would never think of saying such things to children and I am bewildered wondering what it is that makes people act this way.
