OT: Personal Wow!
Today was my first "first day" of school. What? you ask. Well today we got to get the girlies up and ready for their first day of school. It all started last night with showers, packing lunches, laying out the clothes for the day, talking about the fears and anxiety of a new school year, and getting into bed early. Now I know this is old news to them and to my sweetie as they have done it all before but for me it was a first. I am soon to be the proud stepmom to two of the most special young ladies in the world. I know it is such a little thing to be so excited about but all my life all I have ever wanted was to be a mother, it took me some time to find the right man who could give me that gift but I finally did and he has given me something so precious. I really love this little family of mine.

How fun! My nieces started school today as well...I'm anxiously awaiting pictures (since they live in CA). You deserve all the happiness you are experiencing and more...Enjoy these moments!

Nope didn't take any pics for a couple of reasons. One I wasn't really awake and two I didn't want to freak them out because it wasn't that big of a deal to them as they have had 1st day of school before, it was just a big deal to me.

Awww! I'm sure they loved having you there with all the excitement and joy (and maybe so ugh we gotta do the school thing?) going on. The "early" to bed thing is making Kayla a bit buggy but she's getting into it. The kiddos are THE best gifts. You are such a wonderful lady Court. You deserve this and so much more. Love you, Kat
