It's a no no for me. I've been told by my doc, Nut and many other post ops that the carbonation can stretch your pouch. Gosh I have enough gas now- I can't imagine what I'd be like after a soda.

Nope - nada - neit...... My doc would have a stroke - haha.... Seriously, you don't need it. It's is only empty calories that can start a terrible habit. PS - Your new pic is FAB!!! You look AWESOME!

You are SO very welcome. Just remember this (re: soda), a girlt hat I work with was drinking 1 flat Diet Mountain Dew a day during her 2nd month and lost ZERO weight that month. That's almost impossible. The doc was ticked (to say the least) and she was very unhappy with herself. Now, she doesn't drink it and has lost ALOT of weight (plus feels better). So, whenever you want a soda, just think, is it worth losing the fight???? No...it's not. You have done wonderful so far. Keep up the GREAT work!

It's a no no for me as well. I've been told that some leave an open can in the 'fridge overnight to let it go flat to drink it, but ick...flat soda and empty calories...double whammy that's just not worth it. Sorry...mind over matter?!

It's a no no for me forever too! Not worth all the damage it can do now. I thought I would miss it because I was a diet mountain dew freak before surgery but now I don't miss it and would not think of drinking it. Jackie
