What Are You Doing To Move Today - Tuesday August 28th
Morning Everyone.....
Looks like it is going to be a nice day here at the beach. A bit on the cooler side - thank goodness!
So...what are YOU doing to move today????
Well....I decided yesterday that I was going to run today, so that's what I'm going to do.
Now that I have a surgery date, my motivation is really high. I really want to be in peak physical shape when I have surgery, so I've started increasing my protein, and iron, and will be ensuring that I follow my workout plans to a "T".
Plus...my brother in law and I want to do the Neptune Festival 8K at the end of Sept. That is a longer distance than what I have been running regularly, so it's a challenge. I can do it - I've done it on a few occasions. But, now...I need to train to do it.
So, everyone....enjoy the day!
PS: As a side note....it was brought to my attention that me posting my fitness goals and running adventures may be hurtful to some as they are not able to do what I can do. Please understand that that is NOT my intention. I do this to motivate myself (because we all tend to forget how far we have come) and to try and motivate others to pick a goal and go for it. Moving is one of the keys to success and I want everyone to be as successful as I have been so far. Do I fear regaing - heck yes and that is why I workout so much, and working out keeps my weight within 2 pounds (what's 2 pounds amonst friends) and I really enjoy how it makes me feel. But....my daily posting are to hold myself accountable and hopefully, you too (they say that if you write it down, you have to do it). Nothing more and nothing less.

Today is going to be a day at the park for sure! Lots of walking and exploring and fun! Its a BEAUTIFUL park where we are going. We've been there once before and LOVED all the paths, play areas, the aquarium and all of the outside activities there. My girls will for sure (as I will) be tuckered out just in time for beddie bye this pm.
I LOVE that you post your fitness goals and adventures and please know you are an inspiration to many. I believe that we are each others support and motivation and although we may not all be able to reach the same type of activity levels/goals there are many things we CAN do to get there in with our own plans of action. So THANK YOU!
