Amanda, The support group meeting is at 7:00 - 9:00 on the first tuesday of every month. He is a wonderful surgeon.

Toobigjackallen4, Dr. Hazem Elariny, is definitely a very good surgeon. He did my surgeon on November 15, 2005. I had the VBG with Sleeve. I highly recommend him. He is a very good Surgeon. I also suggest going to the support group meetings that is office has. Kathleen Ludwig

BTW, I went to his seminar and really liked him and would have used him, but I couldn't get my insurance to cover him. I have Kaiser so I had to go to one of their approved surgeons. Are his support groups open to others? I'd be interested in attend once in a while. Cathy

I used Dr. Oscar Chan who works out of Dr. Elariny's office. He was terrific - came to see me twice in the hospital - answered any and all questions.

His office staff is great -- Alex was a wonder-woman with the insurance and testing. Good luck --
