Protein Shakes/Drinks - What Are Your Recipes?

There are many newbies on the board lately (and those of us who are getting tired of our tried and true recipes), so let's do a recipe swap! What are your recipes for docing up the protein drinks/shakes that we love oh so much Most of these I have had since the day my doctor gave me free rein to try what I wanted.  I keep a vast supply of protein powder on hand so I don't get bored.  These are the ones that go-to most often.  Also, I keep frozen berries available at all time to add to vanilla protein powder. Pumpkin Shake 1 Scoop Vanilla Matrix Protein Powder 1/2 Cup of Micellar Milk (or regular skim milk) 1/4 cup water 1/2 - 1 cup of crushed ice 1/2 cup canned unsweet pumpkin 1 - 2 tsp Splenda (to your taste) 1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend everything together in a blender and enjoy.  To make it more of a dessert, add: 2 Murray's Sugar Free Ginger Snap Cookie (crushed) and 2 tsp Sugar Free Whipped Cream (on top) WITHOUT COOKIES AND CREAM: Cals: 208   Fat: 3   Carbs: 13  Protein: 34 Cherry Chocolate 1 Scoop Matrix Chocolate Protein Powder 1/2 Cup of Micellar Milk (or regular skim milk) 1/4 cup water 1/2 - 1 cup of crushed ice 6 Frozen Cherries 1/2 tsp Almond Extract Blend everything together in a blender and enjoy.  Cals: 196   Fat: 3   Carbs: 10  Protein: 34 Chocolate Banana 1 Scoop Matrix Chocolate Protein Powder 1/2 Cup of Micellar Milk (or regular skim milk) 1/4 cup water 1/2 - 1 cup of crushed ice 1/2 Med Banana Blend everything together in a blender and enjoy.  **Note:  Add about 2 tsp of peanut butter for an extra taste. Cals: 236   Fat: 3   Carbs: 21  Protein: 34 Peaches and Cream 1 Scoop Vanilla Matrix Protein Powder 1/2 Cup of Micellar Milk (or regular skim milk) 1/4 cup water 1/2 -  cup crushed ice 5 Slices of Frozen Peaches, no syrup (I slightly defrost of the microwave) Blend everything together in a blender and enjoy.  Cals: 222   Fat: 3   Carbs: 17  Protein: 34 Chocolate Carmel 1 Scoop Matrix Chocolate Protein Powder 1/2 Cup of Micellar Milk (or regular skim milk) 1/4 cup water 1/2 - 1 cup of crushed ice 1 - 2 Tbsp Carmel DaVinci's syrup Blend everything together in a blender and enjoy.  Cals: 182   Fat: 2   Carbs: 7   Protein: 33 *** NOTE:  I love the DaVinci's syrups, because I can quickly change flavors without having to buy alot of protein powder flavors.  Plus, I can add the syrup without adding alot of calories and carbs (like you do with fruit). Chocolate Mint **This one is definately more of a dessert shake. 1 Scoop Elite Chocolate Mint  Protein Powder (if you do not have the Elite Mint Protein Powder, start with Matrix Chocolate and add about 1 tsp of mint extract) 1/2 Cup of Micellar Milk (or regular skim milk) 1/4 cup water 1  1 1/2 cup of crushed ice 2 Frozen Murray's Sugar Free Chocolate Mint Cookies Blend everything together in a blender and enjoy.   Top w/ sugar free whipped cream to make it extra special. WITHOUT CREAM Cals: 242  Fat: 6   Carbs: 15   Protein: 34 You can also do Matrix Vanilla Protein powder and add (2) crushed sugar free murray's sandwich cookies for a cookies and cream shake. lso, the more ice you add, the thicker it will be - like a blizzard.  So, when adding the ice, play it by ear to your own taste.  I personally enjoy having a "blizzard" every night.

I am not creative I guess .. I do the Acheive Ones for the most part .. when they have them to buy .. but since they ran out .. I have been doing the following .  Nectar- Carribean Cooler  8 Oz of Cherry Kool Aid .  Crushed Ice .  Taste like a slurpee !!!  I tried Lei's coffee recipe .. but I just cannot duplicate it .  I am trying the Pumpkin one ..

I like to do the Orange Creamsicle.  1 scoop vanilla protein powder 8 oz milk or water orange crystal lite crushed ice Other da ys I will add 1/2 c of brewed, cooled cofee to a vanilla protein shake or to the Matrix Cookies n Creme. I found these new Splenda Flavor Blends for coffee. They come in Mocha, French Vanilla and Hazlenut. In Walmart they were in the coffee isle, but at my commissary they were in the Splenda/Equal section.  I use the DaVinci SF syrups too. I love the caramel flavor. Everyday I live by  the Nectar Lemon Tea.
