I had a moment today...

where I was pain free and was able to wipe my own butt...without asking my husband to help.  Naturally, this is not something people are going to tell you post op... it hurts...and it's nearly impossible to actually wipe your butt if you have a bowel movement...and unless you like pain...be ready for it if you've not had surgery! I sure do love the post op adventure...seriously doing well today and update my blog.  Venture over...cause it's fun to read.  (I think so anyway).

Oh no water revisited!!!!  I think that is something I am going to miss is just guzzling fluids.. I love to do that.. uh oh! And I asked DH if he would assist if a movement should arrise and he said yes.. but first asked if he could use the toilet bowl cleaner... LOL he's so funny....

I guess I was lucky as I never had any trouble there and did not need assistance ...... I can't imagine my husband doing that but he would have if I had needed him to... plus I bought one of those things with the long handles that you use to wipe your butt if you are disabled - but I never needed it.... But it all gets easier I promise! Hang on in there.... Jackie

LOL, there were a few times I thought i'd have to call hubby in to do it but i managed without my pain and now the pain is all but gone and i have no problems doing it.....
