I need an Angel

   I am looking for an Angel, any takers?  I honestly do need some support during this time, especially since I'll be at the hospital all by myself during surgery and during the day.  Hubby will now be able to come by around 6pm each day for an hour to two.  I've had major surgery before so I think I know what to expect.  But it is always nice to have someone to talk to. I'm to far away to offer to be your angel, but I can give you some advice from someone who has had major surgery before, enjoy the time alone and not having to entertain anyone and let those pain meds work! You are going to need your rest before you go home. So love your hubby during his visit and sleep away ( when they are'nt making you walk).

I certainly plan on resting as much as possible :)  Ugh, I remember how painful it was to walk after my hysterectomy, not looking forward to the walking part...or the going to the bathroom part

Hi Autumn,  My hubby had to work too. The 1st day I was so "out of it" that I was not really able to visit or talk. The next day- I actually waited to have my Dh and kids visit until late afternoon so i could shower etc. The rest of the time I was napping, Watching tv and reading.  If you still need a phone angel I am available. Thanks Dolly :)  I'll e-mail sometime this week, between work and housework I don't seem to have much free time this weekend :(   I just hope that the nurses are  great. That is a big advantage to having someone sit with you, if the nurses are not attentive, they can fetch the nurse for ya. That happened to me when I finally got moved into my room after the hysterectomy.

Autumn,  I just got back from vacation or would have responded sooner.  I would be glad to be your Angel! I work and live close to Sentara, which is where I had WLS, and had the same surgeon.  Let's get together before your surgery.  I posted a PM to you.
