What Would You Ask > ?

I am working with my PS to get quesitions from other bariatric patients for his upcoming OH sponsored event .  What would you ask a PS when you interveiwed him ?  What is important to you  ?  I will be forwarding your answers to him directly to use for his event .  Thanks ,  Natalie

Along with the normal, who what when where and why questions regarding his practice and the surgery location, here are a few other things that I asked (or will be asking at my pre-op appointment) the plastic surgeons: 1.  Experience in dealing with WLS patients. 2.  Based on experience, what did HE see as a typeical complication specific to WLS patients. 3.  Were WLS pateints more suscpticle to infections and sernomas? 4.  What the heck is a sernoma 5.  Should my nutrition goals change prior to PS surgery?  What were the recommendations? 6.  How were the results different for the WLS patient, as compared to the typical soccer mom? 7.  How long would I out of exercise commission? 8.  What physical activity can I do to help with recovery and keep my muscles working. 9.  What can I do to avoid blood clots? 10.  Should I plan to bring my own protein to the hospital?  What else should I bring? I'll let you know if I come up with any others.........
