I'm sick...ugh!

I have my first post op illness...Cold, runny nose, PINK EYE, headache, you name it.  I know that I overdid it this weekend.  But, I was the matron of Honor, made the cake and helped decorate for the wedding I was in this weekend.  It was my best friend's wedding and it was totally worth it.  But, it's finally caught up.   Not to mention the disgusting events of having to put my firstborn on a bus to kindergarten this morning....(can you hear the violin and the whoa is me theme in the background?) So, instead of typing here...I should be sleeping like my hubby is... I think I will!  I just have to convince my 3 year old to take a nap....wish me luck!

I hope you feel better soon - sounds yukky!! My au pair has a cold and I am praying she does not give it to me as I am having my lower body lift on Monday and don't want any complications!! You are so lucky your three year old takes naps - my son stopped taking them at 2 years old and nothing we could do changed that.... So hoping you get some rest! Jackie

So sorry to hear that you're not feeling good.  Just be glad you're not a horse!!!  It's awful what we have to do when they get the snotts...LOL. First day of kinnie-garden...I remember it well even if it was many, many, MANY years ago.  Don't worry, Mom...YOU will survive it & eventually start looking forward to school days...it's sooooo freeing!!!! LOL Of course we'll expect to see photos of you from the wedding!  

Oh I surely hope you feel better soon. I know its no fun. Hope you got some rest this pm and hopefully your 3 year old conked out good for ya! Make sure to get in your fluids and rest! LOL! I LOVE your sense of humor!

Ugh Lisa I feel your pain!  I felt like crap all day and finally threw up tonight.  I hope this is a quick bug...surgery is only 14 days away! My 1st and 2nd grader did great today and 1st grader had his first soccer practice tonight so it has been a long day.......
