This might sound like a dumb question, but how many holes does the surgeon cut with rny surgery?

Open RNY is one 3 in*****ision and two little pokes (one for JP drain and one for G tube).

For my Open RNY I only had one 2.5-3" scar. For my LAP gall bladder surgery they added three more holes (belly button, 2 on right side, and re-opened my RNY scar. I think it will depend on your surgeon's method.

I had open RNY, ended up with one scar, about 3". After my gall bladder surgery, I had 3 holes, one at the belly button, two on the right side & they opened a little section of my RNY scar. Can you tell Christina and I have the same surgeon.
