WOO HOO NO INSURANCE COVERAGE!

Just found out, well I really knew, but now it has been confirmed, my cheap-ass company does have the rider to cover having bariatric surgury.  I could buy a plan in VA from my comppany and wait a year and then have coverage at 80% which in the long run would be the same as being a self pay.  So now I just have to figure out the finances.  Guess I'll have to talk with my parents or something.  So we'll see and at least I know.

That totally sucks sweety . But do not give up . Check out this site . www.carecredit.com I paid for all of my plastics this way . Over 30 grand . Their payment plans are pretty good . And If I had been denied , this is the way I would have went .  Check with your surgeons office too , they may have self pay plans .  I am so sorry .. but please do not give up .  Big hug ..  Tink

jack your message says  my cheap-ass company does have the rider to cover having bariatric surgury.  i'm taking it that you left out the word NOT  also FYI this whole process is a HUGE lesson in patience.  i never had to be so patient in my life as this past feb. to last thursday. i joined the forum last november and was so ready i didn't think i could wait til march. as it turned out i didn't have to wait til march.  i had to wait til september 6th. LOL so jack, take deep breaths and keep on truckin don't give up! cuz it will happen if you want it to and persevere!
