Any government or govt contractors out there working in Northern VA. Maybe I can switch jobs and jouin a company with benefits that will pay for this surgury.

I work for CSC at Fort Lee VA but they have offices in Northern VA all over, Springfield, Arlington, Ft Belvior, teh Pentagon, and others. Try www.CSC.com and click careers. I got full coverage but had to do the 6 month doctor suprvised diet and exercise prior to approval. Best of luck. I'm rooting for ya!

You may want to check the Va state job board as well. My surgery cost me $300, copays $35 for 2 preop visits, lab and xrays at 10% after deductible of $150. Me and my wife were just down there for the first time over Labor day. Beautiful place, we hope to start vacationing there next summer with our kids. Yeah, I may have to find another job with a health insurance plan that will pay for this. Jack
