WOW!  It's going to be a GREAT day!  In the mod 80's - GOTTA LOVE IT!!!! I feel the crisp air coming and I cannot wait for Fall to arrive.  Cooler days, crisp air....aaawwwww!   Ok...back to the topic at hand.......  Time to think about what YOU are going to do to move today.  Me??? 1 hour on the ellipticle, upper body weight work and ab work.  I really want to be tones when I have surgery, especially since I won't be able to work out for a while. Have a great day everyone!

Hey Jill My exercise partner!!!  I finally started my walking regimen back yesterday evening and walked a mile!! woohoo.  Slowly will build myself back up to my 3 miles a day.  I am taking it a bit easy on the strength training and jumpy cardio until i get my back and neck and shoulders back to the less pain category.  However, I am feelin some better today.  What am I doing today?  Going to do my walk this evening then work on my abs a little bit.   Have a good day hugs

My big accomplishment for the day was getting out of bed at 5 am to come to work for this first time since Aug 8! I'm just glad I remembered where my ID was to get onto the base and my PIN so I could get onto my computer! Now I'm ready for Matt, Meredith, Ann and Al!

Well dont get discouraged. It all depends on where we started and other health issues. Not all of us were meant to be tiny. I am smaller than i have ever been since 5th grade or before. That is an accomplishment if you ask me. If no one else is proud I am. No one is perfect and we all mess up. Just do the best we can to keep truckin along. I want plastics to but feel it would be crazy with all else I have going on right now. No use in puttin my body thru something when my health is not already up to par. We all deal with the different stages at our own pace. Do what you can! I have well surpassed my surgeons goal. Want a few more for mine. Started losing again finally. Had gained a few but the are fallin off now. Skin is so different this time. Got to do what I can to help with that, even if it is a slow start.  Shannon

I am lovin the great weather too. I have to start slow due to health issues. Water walking or walking is about all I am supposed to do on drs orders. I use my stretch bands and hand weights on good days. Cant wait till I can do more on the exercise ball. You would never think it would do so much for your muscles. Lost alot of tone with my back but just got a shot. Gonna do what I can while i can. My favorite exercise is dancing but thats only been about 3 or 4 times this year. Take advantage of my good days when I have them. Plan on walking more today and spending more time with my dogs playin outside. Neck and knees are hurting from exercising yesterday so will have to take it easy. Glad to see inspiring people and people with different outlooks on the board. Ones that are not afraid to say what they do and what works for them even if its different that what is preached. Shannon

Well dont know about you but myself I dont like pain so do what you can for yourself and dont suffer. Unless other  want your pain then do for you and dont worry about others you do for you and satisfy yourself.

Ok, this may not sound like much to some, but for me it's a HUGE accomplishment.

I had to drive the horse trailer to the repair guy this morning.  Turns out we need a whole new a/c unit...uggghhh!  But, here's what I accomplished...

I SUCK at backing that beast up.  Yet when I got home & realized that I had two choices...drag the trailer all over town with me running errands, or figure out how to back it up (without hitting anything!) & unhitch it myself.  Wellllll.....I DID IT!!!!!  We don't have the luxury of hydraulics to raise & lower the thing...it's a hand crank.  Once I got the trailer into position (only had to pull forward ONCE!), I blocked the rear wheel, CLIMBED up into the bed of the truck & unhooked the power cord, unhooked the chains, then climbed down to the ground again.  Then I cranked....& cranked....& cranked....geez, it's hardly moving up....cranked some more....and some more...ok, I'm breaking a sweat now...still more...& more....oh cool, I can see the ball....keep cranking....just a little more....YEAHHHHH!!!!!  I did it!!!!!  All by myself!!!!!!

LOL!  Couldn't wait to get into the house & on my computer so I could email Mike & tell him what I'd just done.  You see, HIS very first time, he did everything I did except for one thing.  Once he had the trailer off the ball in the truck bed, he then put up the tailgate, got into the truck & pulled away....AND BENT THE TAILGATE IN HALF!!!!!  HAHAHAHAHA!!!  So I did it right the first time!!!!  nanny nanny boo boo!!!!

I'm feelin' so froggy now I just may walk 2 miles today....maybe.

Hugs!
Ann
