Special post for Melinda

Melinda...have you found a dress for your wedding yet?  If not, then I have an offer for you.  You admired the dress I wore for my anniversary celebration soooo.....I'd like for you to have it.  I look at it this way...it was a gift of love from a very dear friend so I'd like to pass it forward as my gift to you.  I also have 2 veils to choose from or if you'd prefer, the beaded head band.  Hmmm...now that I think about it, the beaded headband would look lovely with one of the veils in particular.

I just put it into the dry cleaners this morning so if you're interested I will bring it all with me to the picnic so you can look it over & we can see if it will fit you.  If you like it & it fits, then it's yours!

Honey, I'm not as small as you might think.  Not yet, anyway.  Why don't I bring it to the picnic & we'll see, ok?  If it doesn't fit (cuz it's too big!!) then eventually it will find a home.  If it is a LITTLE bit too small, you still have a year to work on that.  Believe me Melinda...that dress was great incentive for me to keep on track.  I wasn't worried that things would go wrong for the wedding...I was worried that my dress wouldn't fit.  So let's just see, ok?  Now, here...take this tissue, dry your eyes & blow your nose.

Ah yes...free clothes to the highest bidder!  Sounds like a great plan.  And yes, it was Cleo.  Is she on the list of attendees, Melinda?  Gosh, I hope so.  If not, well there's another excuse to go to the "city" for lunch or something.
