I've been a bandster for one week today, so I got a new pic. I've lost 28# since beginning the liquid diet almost 3 weeks ago now. Check out my new profile picture. I feel so much better every day.

Oh Carie!  I am sooooo proud of you!!!!  You've lost more than me & I'm 8 weeks & 3 days post-op!  How'd you do that????? LOL!

Would you like to know how I knew I was losing good?  When I realized that "the girls" were entering the room before my big belly!!!!! LOL

You keep up the good work, my friend!!!!

Hugs!
Ann

Ann i'm just doing what Dr. Fontana told me to do... a full liquid diet and lots of walking and NO CHEATING whatsoever! I feel really great except for the GAS! I feel very bloated and painful tonight with it. How long does that last???? I watched the lapband video on here and the Dr. said they fill us with air before surgery and we look like we're pregnant laying there! I didn't know that before.

Way to go, you are doing awesome. I concurr about the gas. I was in so much pain post op and what worked for me was a heating pad (thanks to Jackie for recommeding). I slept with that pad every night, and carried it around with me everywhere. I also tried the gasx tongue strips. I promise you it get's better.  Let me know if I can help you, Moni

Glad to hear things are going well.  That is a great loss you've got going on there.  Keep it up.
