Announcement For FFP for 2008

Im taking apointee's for someone to take over my rein for the 2008 year  (forgive the spelling's) For the Group I started here in Charlottesville we meet once a month we are  the FFP's and Id like someone to continue this for me for the year while I take care of somethings I need to do for myself. I will attend the meets and help when I can but I need to be relieved of the every month meets now if someone would like to share w/ me the months or we could take on 1 person per month type of thing for a year this would be great but I need to step back for a little bit, though I hate to but will help in anyway I can. But as Ive said need a break. Please email me at [email protected] and you have to be that special person to be there and set up the meet & greets on the Sat's for all and have fun for all and be avaliable to these guys and gals for there questions via phone or email I love my group and want them to be left in the best hands. I will finish the year out.  

I would be willing to host another one in Lynchburg in the coming months. Was fun and would like to get some others in the area involved that may not be able to travel and would like to meet new people.  Shannon

Melinda , you did such a great job with those ladies . I am sure they will hate to see you go . If Iived closer I would be willing to take the group over . I am sure that someone will step up . It is a shame to let it all go to waste .  I will be willing to work with that person on structuring the meet and greet and providing educational information .  Melinda , You did an awesome Job  and you should be commended .  I hope you reconsider, but if you do not I understand . Not going anywhere just need some help with all I have going on through-out the year of 2008 Im not deserting  what I started I just need someone to help me do this during the next year because im going to be busy w/ other things that are Important to me and I need to focus on those as well. And Im only ONE person. I think it would be nice that others get involved in hosting the months that Im not able to do this every month is to much for me to commit to for 2008.

Melinda you will of great help I know. With the newbies in your area maybe that will be of some help too. You have done a great job at organizing them. I have done lots of event organinzing in the past and will be glad to help too. Great to have someone in area to do it. Rotation would be great like their was last year. Each area has their groups we need to keep one in our area. Hope I can participate more but pain and some stress that I dont need anything added to have kept me away but I plan to change that. I have great information saved from research preop and post op. I reference it regularly to keep on track. None of us are perfect in the journey and extra help is great. Shannon
