October 6 Dinner Plans after OH Conference

Hi all- I just wanted to throw this out there....I know some of us wanted to get together after the OH conference in Fairfax on Oct. 6. Someone also said that I was the one organizing this (can't remember who), but I have way too much going on right now to be the organizer. So, can someone else step up and volunteer? I'd be happy to offer suggestions on places (though Courtney had a pretty good list in the orignial post), and will most likely be attending....I just can't be the one to keep track of everything/everyone this time. Between school, my marriage, a work conference out of town and my parents coming into town...I'm on overload. SO....if you are one of those that really want to see this dinner happen and have the extra bandwidth to post and keep track of details...now is your chance!

I just hope to be able to attend the conference now. I had a placement of 5 new children to come into care this week. I am a foster parent and 2 are babies (10 months and 2 Years). Anyway, I hope I can come I know it would be interesting plus would love to see everyone there. Donna (Donut)

Hey Chris, even though I'm not attending the conference, I would be happy to organize the dinner for that night. Finally, something I can do that useful to the group...LOL. So if there's no objection from our fellow OHers, I'll take on this task. Any objections, say so now or forever hold yer piece...hmmmm....make that peace!

Hi ya'll - I'm new to the board so I haven't had the privledge of really talking to any of you yet, but I'd like to play too if its ok. I work next door to the Hyatt at Fair Lakes so I'm very familiar with the area. If I can help with suggestions for what restaurants are in the area just let me know! Thanks!
