Thanks y'all !    I thought about bringing a small bottle of water just in case I get stuck with unattending nurses.   Cleo66 (Rickie) has offered to pass on information. She is wonderful Am I horrible for wanting to go pig out today before the clear liquid diet tomorrow.  Part of me wants to go shove as much chocolate cake and pasta down my throat.

I say eat the cake and pasta. You will keep thinking about it if you don't have some.

You probably won't need it. I know I was on NPO (which somehow means nothing by mouth) for the first day or so. So, unless you want it for the ride home (which is when they finally gave me a crystal lite), I found I didn't need much of what I'd taken. The pillow was the best, most useful thing I took....well, besides the clothes for the ride home! As for the cake and pasta....how about eat a normal portiion? Go somewhere you love (Maggiano's, Olive Garden, etc.), order them and then don't bring home left overs. Deprivation is not the answer...moderation is!  Best of the best to you for a safe and speedy recovery!
