Oct 6 OH Dinner Alternative

Amy (the DW) and I would like to invite everyone to dinner at our home after the OH conference on Oct 6. We live less than 2 miles from the hotel where the conference will be held and our home can accomodate a lot of people. We would probably do BBQ (take out) or hamburgers, but we have a little time to work that out. CWMom, you have a gift for organization, and if you are willing, I would appreciate it if you continue to coordinate who is coming. Y'all think about it and let me know if this is something people would like to do. We really would love to have everyone. Joe

Joe , I personally think it would be a great idea . I just left all of those wonderfull people at the FFP meeting and we where discussing this . So when she sees this , I am all over it . I am sure we can work out the eat's thing . Thanks for the offer ... Natalie

Sounds like a great idea to me as well! :-) Of course, we'd want to pitch in for the cost so we can either set a price, or divide up the costs you and your DW incur. The offer is very generous....that sweet heart of yours is showing through again.

Joe Bear, I will plan on coming by. I would love to meet you, your wife and the rest of the clan. I had RNY Surgery April 5, 2005 at Washington Hospital Center in D.C. so I am in D.C. alot but I know nothing about the Fairfax Area. Is there anything I should see while I am in the area.
