Just moved to VA!

Hi ya Susan Welcome!! I too am a Navy wife and live here in great ol' Virginia Beach.  Some of us are getting together for dinner on Sunday 9/30 at the Silver Diner on Virginia Beach Blvd, near Pembroke Mall. I'm not sure what time so look for further postings. I will also be having dinner with folks from the Hampton Roads Penninsula on Oct 20th 6PM at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Newport News. The restaurant is just off I 64. Please join us for one or both of these events. Also, Portsmouth Naval Medical Center has their support group the first Thursday of the month. So again, welcome to Virginia and these Va Boards.

Hi Jen!! Sorry it took me so long to reply!!  I posted and then went MIA for a while as I finished putting the house together.  Not to mention dealing with a horrible allergy attack!  WHAT is in the air up here??  lol I won't be able to make the get together on Sunday, but maybe on the 20th!  That would be fabulous.  Not sure if I know my way over to Newport News yet.  Do you go to the Portsmouth meetings?  What can you tell me about the policies up here for the tummy skin removal?  I need to have that done!! Hi Susan & Welcome.  You definitely chose a great area to move too.  There are lots of educated people here, always ready & willing to help out.  Definitely a great bunch on the VA board.

Sometimes it happens.  I was awol myself for a few days & really missed the board.  I guess I am an addict.  :)

Hi Jackie!! Thanks for the welcome.  Looking forward to gettting to know you too!!  Good luck keeping the loss under control.  I'm still working on figuring out what I'm doing.  I thought I was finished losing weight and then it started dropping again.  Not sure what's going on, but I'm not going to argue with it!! 

Welcome, and Hello from the Blue Ridge, I am sure those Tidewater folks will keep you busy.  Your group there is quite large.  I am at goal, but am not worried about losing too much, rather, keeping that lost weight off.  So far so good, but we do have to keep an eye on it either way (weigh, wink), don't we? Lois
