Hi ya Susan!!  Welcome to VA & the VA Board.  You have found your way into a very wonderful group that will have you laughing & crying, angry & happy...you name the emotion, we do it!!!  Feel free to say pretty much anything you want...most of us have done our fair share of venting (& not just about weight loss/gain issues) as well as celebrating our triumphs & "oh happy days"!!  There isn't a day gone by that I don't find inspiration in these threads about one thing or another.  If you're not careful, you can actually spend the ENTIRE DAY ON HERE!!!  No wonder I'm stuck again...not moving enough.  I need Sporty Jill to come live with me for a week.  Hmm....on second thought, she scares me..LOL...I could get hurt! ROFL Anyway, I am so happy you have joined us & I look forward to establishing a long, lasting friendship.  BTW, I, too, was once a Navy wife, but that's a whole OTHER story.

Hugs!
Ann

Hi Ann!! Thanks for the wonderful welcome.  I have a hard time getting off the computer once I get on and start reading the message boards, so to keep my focus on putting the house together, I haven't been getting on-line in the morning and the next thing I know, it's bedtime!!  Gotta get things together soon so I can be here more often!!  Looking forward to getting to know you better!!

Ah yes...establishing new quarters...I remember it well!  I am convinced that somewhere in the world there is a wharehouse with nothing but brooms, mops & dustpans cuz EVERYTIME we transferred those things would turn up missing! On the day the packers came to pack us out of Hawaii I was having surgery.  When we got to our new duty station, I unpacked a very well preserved box of GARBAGE!!!!  No broom, mop, or dustpan, but my Hawaii garbage was in terrific shape!!!! Take all the time you need, Susan.  Once you get settled in you'll be on here constantly...I have no doubt.  So welcome to the neighborhood!!!

Hugs!

ROFL Ann!!!!  I hear ya on the garbage!! I've had that happen so many times, this last move I put a BIG sign over the garbage can that said PLEASE DO NOT PACK THIS CAN OR THE GARBAGE!!!!  First time EVER that they didn't move my garbage for me!!  LOL And,  they didn't take my broom, mop, buckets or any cleaning supplies at all.  I wanted them to take as much of it as they could as I didn't have room to put the stuff in my van and I'd hired someone to clean the house and didn't need it.  So, I ended up finding room for the things I really liked (like my broom and swiffer wet mop) and threw the rest away.   Can't wait to be here every day!!  You guys are great!
