My deepest sympathies to you, your family & friends.  Eben sounds like someone that will be missed but certainly not forgotten. I don't know if this is the right time to mention this, but I always find it comforting when I lose someone I cared about.  Who do you know that is going to have a baby?  Someone close to you or to Eben is expecting...I guarantee it.  Eben will become that little one's Guardian Angel. Take comfort in knowing that your beloved friend is now living with God & is happy.

Hugs!
Ann

God bless you and your family and friends during this tragedy! His Grace is sufficient enough for me. That is what I used to get thru the loss of someone very close to me. Took a while to set in but still helps me with it years later.  Hugs, Shannon

Thank you ALL for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. We had a memorial service for him last night and it was CROWDED. Eben was loved by so many, that even just one day after his loss there were so many people there werent enough seats! He was a christian,he was in church sunday morning even if he had been drinking and partying with his friends till 2 am. And he was in church this sunday morning as well. His "adopted parents " were the paster his wife from our church and for them they have lost a son as well...and to their children a brother. Things will never be the same but we all took peace last night in knowing that we will all see him again because we know where his soul resides. We also took peace in knowing that he lived a full and happy life. That man honestly spent everyday of his life like it was his last and that is why "Tim Mcgraws, live like you were dying" was perfect for the slide show they played last night and as a testiment to his life through song. I will remember him how he was in that slide show last night, sky diving, jumping off of cliffs and standing under waterfalls, or sliding down a mudd bank at a country concert, with no shirt and a cowboy hat on. Thank you all again. Brandi~
