Good am all! Its 1/2 way through the work week and I hope that everyone is making the best of each day. I wanted to say thank you for the thoughts and prayers for yesterday (and everyday actually). My spirits were tested but alas my family/connections came through for me and I thank God for you (on and off the boards)and for his cute lil' sense of humor in my life. Its Wednesday and another day with more chances to smile and to make choices and good ones! So, are ya up and smiling yet? Look around you! Who's there? What is there? What are you happy about today? Even in the darkest moments there is light and having faith and hope will get us through. I'd love to hear how ya'll are doing.  Here's a quote I thought spiffy for this am! Trials are inevitable and we should consider them "pure joy" because the testing of our faith "develops perseverance"  So, do me the gigantanormous favor would ya??? I want ya to look in the mirror at the reflection you see and smile brightly even if you have no desire to and say out loud "my my you're lookin' marvelous this am!" and shine those pearly whites! Come on you can do it!

Egad!!!  THAT perky so early in the morning?  How DO you do it???  LOL!! So hubby gave me my wake up call at 730 instead of my normal 8 am...gggrrrr....cutting into my beauty sleep don'tcha know!  But at least it's HIS voice I get to hear first thing in the morning.  Too bad he expects me to be coherent & brain functioning  TWO SECONDS after I answer!  Just goes to show that no matter how many years you spend with that special someone, they are ALWAYS a work in progress...LOL! Ok, so I did the potty thing (tmi??), took my drugs, ate my bowl of Kashi cereal (yummmm), watched last night's "Dancing With The Stars" (the girls are gonna take it this year!!!), then headed off to the shower.  Next stop...cardiology appt. Got all good news & the doc was very pleased with the weight loss thus far.  He interogated my defib & I  only had 2 diverted shocks in SEVEN MONTHS!!  Woo hooooo!!!!  That's the lowest EVER!!  He had lots of questions about my lapband, to which I happily answered them. Treated myself to mexican lunch...lots of protein!  Talked to my best friend on the phone for a bit, then headed to the grocery store for a few things.  I couldn't believe it...I actually stuck to my list & only spent $36, & that includes my prescription!! So now I'm home.  It's just started to rain, thank God...He needs to water my grass & flowers.  And now I'm sitting here typing this & thinking of all of you. Ok, who's next?  Come on now...I spilled MY guts...your turn!  BTW, thank you Kat for starting this thread...I have so much fun with it!  And you always brighten my day!

Hugs!
Ann

Hey! How do *I* do it??? I HAVE to get up each morning and make the best efforts and best of my day no matter what. I am UP every morning no later than 6 am (nearly everyday before then) and I take time for me and getting my morning started. I find it helps me not feel so rushed and I get a chance to get a shower, grab some coffee, the paper and catch up on a few things that make my day go smoother. Then its getting my oldest bugga up and those precious moments we get just the 2 of us in the am's. It makes it worth getting *me* taken care of so I can focus on her. Soon to follow is my lil' bugga and so its quite a bit going on!  I'm glad to hear your appointment went so well and the doc is happy bout your weight loss (as should you be). Ohhhhh GREAT about defib stuff. Lunch sounded yummy! I had fresh fruit and some chicken salad. Hey could ya send some rain here? Not only do I LOVE it but we need a bit of it to nourish the ground I got some greens growing!  Awww thank you! I will KEEP on doing this thread and having fun and smiling and knowing that I'm touching others too is such a great feeling!

Ahhhh, to be young again!  Your buggas sound absolutely delightful & I bet they are every bit as cute as their Mama too.  Just glad mine aren't little anymore.  At my age I can't keep up!  But you do it for me, ok? lol  And good for you that you find some "me" time.  That was always a hard thing for me at times when mine were little ones.  Now I have LOTS of me time.  Thus the sleeping in till 8...I consider that me time.  But hate to sleep any later than that cuz then I'm burnin' daylight!  Got too much to do, too much to see, more peeps to meet, & unknown territory to check out!  Love ya babe!

Hugs!
