Getting a little nervous - surgery is 10/11 - two weeks from tomorrow

Getting a little nervous - start liver shrinking diet tommorrow...........Has anyone recently had lap-band and can shed some light.  Surgery is 10/11/07 - I am anxious but a little scared.

I am not a lap bander so I can't shed any light. Just do exactly what your doctor says. Take it easy the next few weeks and after surgery walk, sip, walk, sip, walk......you get the idea. Good luck and keep us posted.

Not a lap bander here either but wanted to let you know that the nerves are normal.  Just listen to your dr. and walk & sip.  The liver shrinking/liquid can be rough so just stay determined and know you can do it.  CWMom is a new lap bander.  Send her a private message, I am sure she will gladly talk  to you about it.

HI.  Were you the lady I talked to on the phone with my grandma?  I spoke to someone who was getting lap band.  my grandma just had that and i had RNY feb 27th.
