THURSDAY AM - YEAH!

Good Thursday am! How are ya'll doing? The sun is just bout coming up on this another BEAUTIFUL morning and so are ya up moving round? Are ya sipping on something sooooo yummmy that your lips are saying THANK YA BABY?!?!? I've got my cup of yum yum and am getting ready to watch my bugga catch the bus. Speaking of which she is doing wonderfully in school and we are very proud of her! My lil' bugga and I are gonna clean house and then hit the pavement/sunshine and have us a nice walk. I'm wondering something here....are you smiling yet? Have you taken a few minutes for yourself to stretch big and tall and then smile brightly? I think we should invent something like bedside springs that once we sit up on the side of the bed and slide into them we stop bouncing like silly jumping beans!!!! Yeah!!! THAT would be fun huh? BOING! BOING! BOING! Ok, that might be a lil' much but hey smiling is the BEST way to warm a heart and the kewl thing bout smiling at someone else is they are almost bound to smile backatcha! HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Enjoy your Thursday!  

Morning Kat! While I was making my coffee I was listening to the radio. Our local country station sends little ones to Disney  World based on letters that their parents, etc send in. Well today's story was EXTREMELY disturbing.  This particular 4 year old girl was in foster care, sent back to her mother and was burned when her mother poured hot coffee on her. So I turned on the coffee pot, went potty and when I came back to the kitchen there was hot coffee everywhere. Oh no---I had the lid on the pot so the coffee didn't go into the pot but all over the counter, floor, cabinets. Well I was upset enough from this story on the radio and for minute, ticked off that I had this mess to clean up and still had no coffee. ((I'm good after a sip or two!!))  Then when beginning to clean up I had this feeling of calm. This little girl was back in foster care and being adopted and going to visit Mickey Mouse. So I made a new pot of coffee with a smile.  Have a great day!

Morning Jen! That is God speaking for sure! Sometimes things happen so that we "pay attention" right then and there. That feeling of calm to me means you get it! You stopped, listened and even though there was a bit of a mess it afforded you the opportunity to hear the rest of the message and that is although this lil' gal was in a very bad situation initially she is now getting a chance to get good care and love and seeing Mickey Mouse is for sure a bonus. My thoughts and prayers go out to the girl in hopes that she is placed with a wonderful loving family and prayers also for the mother who I hope gets help and is one day able to forgive and be forgiven.  Thanks and enjoy your day as well!

Wow!  Jen's post really puts things into perspective, doesn't it?  Thanks for sharing the, Jen. Me?  I'm good.  Yes, I have the smile on.  Also have the work out clothes on along with my new cross-trainers.  Never owned cross-trainers before.  I'm going for my first work out at Curves this morning.  Don't have to be there until 10:30, but I'm already dressed & jus****ching the clock till it's time to go.  Feel like a little kid waiting to go to "kinnie garden" for the first time...LOL! I got a God gift too....rain!!  And gonna get some more today.  Thanks, God, for watering the grass & flowies! Love to all & happy Thursday!

Good am! Hope you enjoy your workout and GLAD bout your smile! Gonna hit the pavement here shortly myself and enjoy nature. Its a GORGEOUS day! I STILL get excited about walking and exercising and I'm getting some new tennie's tomorrow myself and I'm thinking I'm getting some that support breast cancer which is great!
