I need dress help for my sister
I have a lovely fuschia sari that will fit anyone! LOL!
I got my gold A-line floor length skirt for my son's wedding at David's Bridal for $79. If you find an outfit at their store but they don't have the right size, they wil search their opther stores and the other store will send it to you for $15 - but it may be not returnable, not sure. I got the dark teal protrait collar, 3/4 sleeve blouse at Dillards for around the same price. Both are size 18W or I would give them to you. My point is that these stores both carry plus sizes. I couldn't find a complete outfit at one store anywhere, but putting it together worked for me.
I might be able to locate one or two for you .... I will check the sizes of the ones I am thinking of, and if they are in that size range, I will let you know. Both are formal, floor length dresses....seems to me one is forest green and the other is a deep red with a sa****hink they are both from David's. Let me check and I will get back to you.
I actually live in Stafford but have family in Manassas....so if these work out, I can make arrangements to meet you or something in Manassas.

I know I had your cell number someplace - actually Bob had it to call you after surgery,. but I can't find it. I have a closet full of stuff - some more formal than others - I know I have a long brown velvet 3 piece dinner type suit, with some gold sparkles on it - I believe it's a size 24 - you're welcome to it (and anything else that would fit her) if you'd like. Email me at [email protected] if you want to get together and shop my closet. We might even be able to put a skirt and fancy top together for her. I know how hard this is for you - I was a big bride with a bigger bridesmaid and it was a challenge. Hang in there - it will all fall into place!

When I got married, I was a sales rep and visited the Pa. area frequently. There are lots of wedding appropriate stores up there. Have you looked for their adds in the back of the wedding Mag's? I know you may be crunched for time, but it was amazing how much I found in Pa.that was pus sized and really attractive, it's only a couple of hours away.
Also, I was in a wedding and asked to wear black as a bridesmaid. With black Tuxes it looked really beautiful! You need to have some color in your flowers though to give it balance.

Well don't think we would have time to hit PA but I will mention it to her. See I think the black is great and since we are doing an evening ceremony, even better. Definitely accenting it with boquets of gorgeous fall colored flowers. :)
