What Are YOU Doing To Move Today???

Good Morning!!!!!! Ok - it's October 1st - a brand new month with LOTS of opportunities.  If you have fallen off track, today is the day to pick yourself up and pull it together.  If you've stayed on track, then today is the day to step it up! Before you know it, we will be in full swing of the holiday season - so, take this month to really baby yourself.  Set a goal, and stick with it! So...what are YOU doing to move today?  Me?  well, I need to get back on track.  Between sciatic nerve issues, work , and mild depression I lost all focus over the past 2 weeks.  BUT TODAY IS A BRAND NEW DAY!!!! So, I will be leaving work a little early to take some me time.  I'm hitting the treadmill to walk out the kinks in my body.  So...30 minutes on the treadmill and then a 20 minute ab workout.  Nice and easy. Enjoy your day!!!!

My usual M-W-F upper and lower body strength training and easy cardio.  Boy do I sleep well on MWF nights! Did you do the 8K on Saturday?  Missed you at dinner last night!

Naw....I've been nursing an injury, so I went to work instead.  Did pick up my not-so-free t-shirt, though - haha. I had to work yesterday, and by the time I got home I was just whipped.  Thank goodness the end of the fiscal year only happens once a year.  It's a killer though......

Good am Jill -  Loving the Fall weather for sure. Hitting the pavement this am/mid pm and major house cleaning from all the human tornados that were here this weekend! Bought a new bed set set thats gonna be fun getting together. Lots of uping, downing, pushing, pulling, climbing, stretching etc as I'm packing things up and storing other things and moving furniture and cleaning big time!  Enjoy your day and hope you're feeling much better!

After a fun dinner with Sheila (Ladyrad) and Ricki (Cleo66) last night, I'm putting on my walking shoes. Today I'll be going to the animal shelter to volunteer walking the dogs, petting the bunnies and playing with the kitties. This afternoon I plan to do some upper body work. Celebrate every day!

Hey there You ! I am starting my search for a personal traininer with a background in physical therapy . I want one that is going to be able to help me get stronger in my back and arms while not hurting my plastic surgery and my neck . I found out I have a herniated disk from the accident and will need some strenght training .  I am taking the dog on a long walk this afternoon, and doing some PT at 4:30 .  Take care ,  Nat

I'll be trying to get a walk in at lunch time or after work this evening.  I've got major house cleaning to do tonight and tomorrow after work.  We've got company coming this weekend :-)  I did "play" in the yard yesterday!  I played with the lawn mower and the pitchfork --- cutting the grass and turning the compost pile over many times (I have some very happy worms).  And I did get some good walks in last week while I was at a conference for work.  Nothing like walking in the early morning humidity in Mobile, AL :-) Have a great day everyone!!!!!! Take it easy with the disk problem.  I suffer from lower back problems, and they are a real pain to deal with.! But, le tme know what your trainer comes up with (when you find one).  It might be useful for me, too.
