Crashhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Hello VA friends. My car was in a really bad accident last week - and I was in it! Thanks God I didn'thave one of my three kids in the car - it was pretty severe - both air bags deployed - the front of the car and windshield smashed - I even had to squeeze out of the car because  it would barely open! So the car is totalled. I already have the insurance check so I will go car shopping this weekend. My upper back is still in pain - though I am in therapy at a chiropractor and PT three times a week for the next month, then twice a week in November and finally once weekly in December. I am hoping to be released from medical care and well healed so I can dance at the sock hop in January!! Well, I am off- the Darvocets - which I save for bedtime only!) are kicking in and I was given a new therapy pillow I have to start sleeping with for my neck. Sigh. My weekend is actually fairly relaxing though...football game my son is in, a wedding, I have free tickets for my whole family for the State Fair of Virginia and my girls love to see the baby chicks and pigs - so we will more than likely go Sunday afternoon just for a few hours. I certainly can't ride the rides this year! lol.  OH! And last weekend I took my son to the Scream Fest at Kings Dominion - IF you have kids over 10 years of age - it's a MUST add to your fall planning schedule - SO MUCH FUN - and YES! VERRRRY SCARRRRYYYYY! Happy Weekend :) David

I end my PT in November . I know first hand how it all feels . And Thank God for the Drugs.. My neck hurts so bad sometimes .. well you know .  I just wanted to jump in say hi .. again .. and tell you I am so glad you where not hurt worse .  Love ya ,  TInk

Wow David that stinks.  Will keep you in my prayers for speedy recovery.

Sorry about the accident hope you are doing better soon and are ready for the sock hop in January, wont be fun without you on the dance floor : )!!! Get plenty of rest.

David - I am so sorry to hear about your accident but so glad that you were able to walk away from it even though you will have back and neck trouble for some time... hope you continue to recover and get the new car you want! SOX hop won't be the same without you dancing your ass off! Jackie
