Hey Christine!  Girl, you must be soooo proud of yourself for resisting temptation like that.  Those new flannel pj's will last you a whole lot longer & be so much more useful than that tub of ice cream or those chips.  You done good, sweetie. Please do take these ladies up on their offer to "hang".  Being an old military wife & military mother, I know first hand how important it is to have a good support system while our guys are away.  And these ladies are SERIOUS.  Lots of people will SAY the right words, but don't always follow through...these ladies MEAN it!  After all, you're one of our own, right?  And wouldn't you be there for any one of us if we asked you to?  So reach out, sweetie...before long you'll have a whole extended family that will love you & support you & encourage you.

Hugs!
Ann

I am so proud of you for not giving in to tempation of the food!  Deployments are so hard but we are here to support you. There will be periods of time that you will not here from him, but Chris is right no news is good news. TIn my opinion, one of the hardest things we have to do as military wives is being chipper for our spouse when we do hear from him. Take care of yourself and lean on us.

congrads on the marriage. and congrads on finding chris... i have been there too, 2 times. with my ex and my current boyfriend. i can remember the tears when i was left behind. and i can remember the tears when they came back. trust me when i tell you all he needs right now is for you to be strong. if he has to stop and worry about it, he can put lives at risk. when you speak with him . be positive. let him know you love  him and support him. best of luck :)

Christine - you and Chris are both in our prayers!  I know what is like to have someone deployed.  Growing up in a very military family - we know you need love and prayers! - You got them! Hugs! - Jill & Jon
