Hello New to Virginia

My family and i just PCSd into the Hampton area from Ohio. So I am switching boards LOL I am almost 2 years out. Thrilled I had my surgery and small weight loss but so disappointed that I have not lost any weight since 6 weeks out from surgery. I had a adjustable gastric band first they removed it when it slipped into my diaphram and my pouch was made bigger from the scarring. I went from 277 to 225 and now am back up to 235! I am heartbroken and going to go see the military doc in this arae what I should do! I need to get the rest of this weight off! Casey crazy mom to 4 girls, loving wife to Steven, agb placed 5/03 -13 pounds revision to RNY 11/05 -52 pounds plus +10 lately

Welcome Casey to Va and to the VA Boards . You will find that we are all very supportive and probably one of the most caring bunches around . Be sure to keep us posted on your visit with the new doc. I am sure someone can get you fixed and back on track . Just take it one day at a time . Take it easy .. Natalie

Welcome Casey! We have a great group of folks here on this board.I am a Navy wife and we have many military wives here. Keep watching for get togethers in the area. There is one on October 20th 6PM at Cheeseburger's in Paradise in Newport News. Ususally we have one in Virginia Beach too.
