Yeah, I'm 14 months out, but I just had my appointment last Thursday. I'm happy to report that all my levels were great except that I had low blood sugar. No high blood pressure, low cholestorl, and he said my skin was in great shape. He also said he wanted to change my goal weight, he thought I should only lose 10 more pounds. I weighed 195 at his office, even though I'm 191 at home. Either way, that made me feel good. I still plan to get to the 170's somewhere, but that will happen in time. I've been a little discouraged lately not making it into the 180's yet, but I haven't been as vigorgous at the gym the last week or two, so that's my fault! I've been given the tools and I know what to do. Its just about trying to find the time. At least I know I'm not sitting around on my tush doing NOTHING. I'm very active.  I'm only having one other problem and that's my shakey hands. I think its related to the low blood sugar. The doc says he wants me to have a protein shake later in the day. He thinks I'm eating great, I just need to switch up my timing. Just thought I would let you guys know what's up. Thank you for ALL of your support. Just goes to show you need to keep up with your vitamins/exercise even when things are CHAOTIC!!!!

Amber -  That's GREAT!  spounds like it went well and that is ALWAYS important. Now, like you stated, you know what you need to do, and you know how to use it.  It is up to you as to HOW you will use it.

That is great Amber.  Congrats on those successes.  Changing your routine or even adding in an extra shake might help a lot.  At one year out you may need to increase just a bit and that might be the boost you need to help that loss you are looking for.  I have issues with low blood sugar also.  Ended up that I responded better with more carbs in my diet.  My nut. ended up telling me to add carbs, whether it be from higher carb fruits & veggies or whole grains, to my meals.  Those shakey hands can be obnoxious.

Morning Amber - I'm glad things are going well for you. I am sure you will reach his goal. You've so wonderfully thus far. Yes, we have the tools but sometimes Life throws in some monkey wrenchs and we just have to remind ourselves bout taking care of us and not worrying so heavily about the scale. I can say the shakey hands for me comes from low iron and low blood sugar. I have found it I eat/drink later in the pm it does help me. I hope that you find that works. Take care.......

Amber you are doing great! Congrats on the outstanding weight loss to date - I know it can be very frustrating to get down those last 20 or so lbs - I had the devil of a job doing it and it was slow and plastic surgery helped with the rest! So remember you may be carrying 10lbs or more of loose skin... Jackie
