Hey Beautiful....You are doing wonderful.  Just do what the dr says and you will be great.  Don't be too hard on yourself,  just think were you were a year ago.  Hugs, Betsy

Yeah Amber. All is going well. Please take care of that low blood sugar. That can be just as bad as diabities. That is so kool that your skin is in good shape. Oh how I wish mine was. OOOOHHHHH SCARY!!! Are you going to try to go to Cheeseburger on the 20th? I am. Hopefully see you soon.

Amber-licious!  You sound so proud of yourself, & confident too.  That's the best way to be.  Oh, & just for the record, yes it is the low blood sugar making your hands shake.  And remember...you  got that from you own personal EMT...lol!  Keep up the good work!!

Hugs!
Ann

Amber, you look fantastic girlfriend....you'll get there.   I think adding an extra shake may help you like someone suggested.   You are right, you know what to do girl so go out there and get it done.   Anna

Amber - Thank you for sharing your experiences with all of us.  I'm sure the other newbies like me appreciate hearing how life goes as you get further out from surgery.  It's still a tool; it's still a commitment to health! Cleo

Congratulations  on the great report!  My blood sugar tends to drop in the late afternoon.  I don't do so well with carbs - so I just  do a protein shake if I get shakey - and it does the trick! Keep up the great work! Hugs -Jill

As much as I'd like to respond each of you individually, I'd probably blow up OH, hahaha! Thank you all for your support and kind words. I'm definitely doing what the doc says and I'm adding protein later in the day. I'm emotionally burned right now so it does take a toll on me physically, but that soon shall pass. I'm very happy with where I am physically, except my temporary moments of lapsing in to comparing myself to others, but then I wake up and realize I'm right where I'm supposed to be. I'm not ever going to be a petite little girl. I'm almost 6 feet tall for pete's sake! I'm gonna keep up my gym, keep eating as much protein as possible, and drink LOTS of water with my coffee, hehehehehe!!! Love you guys!!!!
