How are YOU this am? How was your weekend?  My weekend was pretty good. Needing to occupy my brain to get out of this funk that has seemingly been hanging over me lately a lot of my weekend was spent low key as possible. The weather was very nice so of course nature was our friend and we enjoyed it quite a bit. Saturday we went to the newest Target in our area. It's fairly large and we managed to pick up just a few things before my dad had enough of shopping. Hey! Its not like I care to shop either really unless I know what I'm going for. Afterwards, I rented some movies and took some time to relax after having made a big pot of beef soup in the pressure cooker/crockpot. For the buggas I rented Reef. Kinda dorky if you ask me but they seemed to like it quite a bit. For us adults I got A Few Good Men and Knocked Up. I like them both. I crashed early Sat pm. Rose early Sun am and went walking for 3 miles then hit 7-11 for coffee and mini blueberry muffins. Came home and showered, got dressed, read the newspaper, sipped on my cuppa joe, hit up my vitamins and then got the buggas dressed and we really enjoyed being outside. Kayla is big on jumping into leaf piles so we did our best to rake up all the leaves in the yard we could and suprisingly it made a pretty decent sized pile already! Her & Nora went jump crazy and then the neighborhood kids came to join in leaving the pile looking like well, nothing more than bit and pieces. There were wagon rides, bike riding, laughing, playing, swinging, yelling, giggling....lots of my favorite sounds. I love Fall!!! The leaves are turning and falling and my precious, beautiful butteflies are still hanging around (for a few more weeks anyway) and Nora spent time trying to chase them down. Sunday pm I visited my sister and then the bookstore where I bought a book that is going to be amazing!!! I KNOW it! Several friends and those I don't even know have said its one of the best buys I'll ever make. Its called Boundaries! I will start it this am. Off to bed pretty early again and here we are on Monday am! Both my buggas are up and dressed with their momma and my oldest Kayla will be hitting the pavement to head for the bus in about 15 minutes. Nora & I are going to get in some errands, get our hair cut and a few other things. We're going back to the Target to walk around and really see what they have there. I like 'em ok I suppose. I am going to try and get my nails and toes done as well as a little treat to myself. As I mentioned I am going to start the Boundaries book which I'm really excited about too. There is also a workbook that can be bought with it too. I might depending on how I like the book. So, what are YOU doing today? Are you up? Have you taken 5 minutes for yourself this am? Given things up to God? Are you smiling?????? Come on I know its Monday but its another day to rise and shine and put on your best smile and give back to others as well while giving to yourself. Talking is sharing. But listening is caring. So, lend your shoulder, your ear, your heart and your arms. Have a GREAT Monday!

Good Morning.  I am so so today.  Not feelig all that great.  The fall allergies have kicked in.  Nasal congestion, sore throat, itchy eyes.  Hopefully the meds will kick in soon and I will feel better.  Had a good weekend.  Got quite a bit accomplished but at the same time had some much needed down time.  Did things a bit too hard at the gym last week so I have very sore abs, not working well with the sneezing & coughing let me tell ya.  Planning on still getting those workouts in but definitely have to take it a bit easier.  Happy Day to everyone!!!

Good Morning Ms. Kat (and everyone else....) Well, I spent the weekend with my son who just returned from Iraq.  NOW I can exhale!!!!!  But, we had a great time doing NOTHING! We just sat around being lumps. BUT....we did make it over to the Harley shop, where I got a really cool helmet for my birthday.  It has rhinestones on it (it sparkles, as my neice would say). That's it.  Today...I'm stuck in the office running reports (UGH!) and looking forward to getting home to workout. Enjoy your day!

Had a few rough spots today but doing much better.  I am only down 27lbs but I cannot believe how much energy I have already!!!!!!  I mean going from couch slumlord to being able to go non-stop for hours!!  All my kiddos were in great moods today and my 7 yr old even sat down long enough to finish all of this week's homework tonight!! Still trying to get all my ducks in a row.  Hubby graduates the police academy in two weeks and tomorrow is my one month post op appt.
